The above is the article I was trying to find to complement this post. Looks like there is crazy weather everywhere.

Hey there,
I wanted to recommend Alexander Frater's 'Chasing the Monsoon' to you (if you haven't read it yet). Frater travels through India, following the rain clouds all the way to Cherrapunji--the rainiest spot on earth.

And an aside: I LOVED Nickel and Dimed.

Thanks, Niranjana. I'm not writing much about Nickel and Dimed on this blog because I don't want my "secret thoughts" to get back to my actors, or, more importantly, my advisers... not that I think any of them have found the blog yet.

I'll do a post on N&D soon, though.

I haven't read Chasing the Monsoon and will keep it in mind. I can't read anything substantial for two more weeks until I get this show up and running! Then... well, the Pandavas are still stuck in the forest, and at the rate I'm going they will in fact be there for twelve years, so... maybe I'll intersperse their adventures with Frater's.
