यह आसान है! (Unless, of course, this doesn't say what I think it says.)

Team DesiPundit is awesome -- thanks for linking!

And I can still read Devanagari -- it didn't slip out of my brain overnight.

Rock on!

(P.S. I emailed Garret Wilson about the amazingness of his teaching technique and got a very nice note of thanks in return. So... visit his site and say hello!)

यह वास्तव में बहुत आसान है। आपको ध्वानात्मक (phonetic) की बोर्ड में सीखना है और ज्लदी से देवनागरी में एक चिट्टा बनाना है

Unmukat -- Yah vaastav me bahut aasaan hai. Aapko chvaanaatemak kii bored me siikhanaa hai aur jaladii si divanaagarii me ek chitta banaanaa hai.

That seems to be what it translates to in Devanagari... but I don't have a clue what it means in English! ^__^ Though I recognize "yah," "hai," "devanagari," "ek," and what seems to be "banana..."

I'm going to take a stab at translating the above.

"The speech is very easy. Something something is to learn and something something Devanagari something is to make."

That's as far as I can get with the vocab I have and the online translators I've found to help me.

My Hindi is real dodgy, and I don't recognize what seems to be "dhvanaatmak" but I think it all translates to:

"This is really very easy. You should learn this phonetically and then write a post in Devanagri soon."

This is really not very easy...

Niranjana -- thanks. You're right; it's fascinating, but not at all easy. ^__^
